Here is an old photo I found of Rosie and I, from the first year we performed together. It’s been over 30-years, and the the adventure continues…

Here is my director Josette Antomarchi and I during the rehearsal of my Medicine Show today.
My wife and I have been working with Josette ever since we met at the Guthrie Theater in 2001. Rosie and I were performing as chickens and Josette’s costume was made entirely of feathers.
Come out and see the show at Caponi Art Park this Sunday, June 14.

I began rehearsing today for my weekend Medicine Show at the Caponi Art Park as part of their Summer Performance Series.
My show is this Sunday, June 14, starting at 6:30pm. I will be the opening act for Salsabrosa. Come out for a great evening of comedy, music, and dancing.
I hope to see you there.

This picture was taken by photographer Marc Norberg. We are standing on the far side of Witchwood Stage that has been Rosie and my home at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for over 30 years.
I’m posting this picture today because this is the first day that Rosie and I are empty nesters again. Gabriel our youngest son left yesterday morning to spend the summer street performing in Colorado.
Happy Trails Gabe…

This picture was taken by photographer Marc Norberg. It was part of a photo session at the Southern Theater leading up to our show, The Vaudevillian. I was commissioned by the Southern to write the show in collaboration with playwright Kevin Kling, as part of their 100 year celebration. The cast was Rosie and I, Arsene Dupin, and Scott Crosby with his band The Medicine Show.
Great Memories,

Here are a couple of pictures that photographer Layne Kennedy took of Gabe performing in the Mini-Apple Circus at a benefit that I produced for our neighbor Gabriel Grieling after he was seriously injured in a school bus accident in 2009.
The Mini-Apple Circus is a show that Rosie and I created as an after school project throughout Gabe’s childhood.
Also pictured are his friends Lucy and Lilly who played clowns. This is the only time that Gabe ever played the ringmaster in the show.
What fond memories… *<[:o)
