My sister Linda and I spent the afternoon with our Mom at the Emergency Room. The picture shows her being hooked up to a EKG machine. She earned her ambulance ride with severe chest pains, but the test showed that her 94 your old heart still ticks like a young person.
My job was to help her laugh through the pain of being pocked, prodded and wired up to the torments of a computer that delivered blood pressure tests every 10 minutes.
I’m feeling blessed that she’s now safe at home in bed with a clean bill of health.
